In this episode of The Friday Brief: The Contract Pharma team is gearing up for INTERPHEX next week in New York City. We will have our boots on the ground to bring you exclusive interviews. If you’re at the show, stop by Booth #3715 and say hello. Then, check back here all next week for our live coverage.

On to the headlines from this week, and when it comes to partnerships, AI is still a guiding light for collaborations this year. Labcorp is teaming up with Amazon Web Services and Datavant for an AI-powered platform to analyze Alzheimer’s disease data. Vasa Therapeutics has reached an agreement to use Lilly’s AI-based TuneLab for drug discovery. BostonGene, which has developed a tumor and immune biology AI model, is making that available to ImmunoGenesis to advance their lead program. And Thermo Fisher and HealthVerity are joining forces to expand real-world data possibilities.

Elsewhere in company collaborations, Haisco has granted AbbVie exclusive rights to advance its novel pain medications. Regeneron and Telix have agreed to work together on next-gen radiopharmaceuticals. Curative Biotech has engaged Sterling Pharma for clinical supply of a metformin-based topical solution for dry AMD. In a long-term agreement, SQ Innovation and FIS are partnering on a supply of pharma-grade furosemide API. Circio and Acuitas want to advance in-vivo CAR-T therapy using Circio’s novel circular RNA tech. And Piramal’s CDMO is collaborating with Aji Bio-Pharma to support development and manufacturing of ADCs.

There is much, much more to talk about—and read about—in our breaking news coverage at contractpharma.com, plus the exclusives you’ve come to expect from our editors. We’ll be back next Friday, with a look back at INTERPHEX.
